Style Icon: Giovanna Battaglia

Giovanna Battaglia has lived quite the fashionista life. She started off being the in-house model for Dolce & Gabbana and is now the fashion editor of L’Uomo Vogue. While that is all quite impressive, I find her personal style to be that much more impressive and inspirational. At times she may be seen wearing a bright bold color, but she often keeps her palette in the grey and black hues and is almost never seen without a stunning pair of heels on. Her style is not overtly feminine, in fact she wears many pieces that could easily make someone look frumpy, yet she manages to pull together looks that are entirely unique and completely high-fashion chic. What I love most about her is that you often see her wearing an outfit more than once. Her outfit may only be changed slightly by a different choice of shoes or a different blouse, yet this subtle change creates a totally different look. I find this to be quite inspiring because you rarely see that in the fashion industry. It makes her style feel more realistic, because honestly there have been plenty of times that I  have fallen in love with an article of clothing and you better believe I plan on wearing it more than once.
